The Team Lead Psychologist provides clinical psychologist services and clinical leadership to the Children and Youth Community of Mental Health and Addiction Team. The incumbent provides clinical assessment and treatment interventions and collaborates with other members of the treatment team to ensure best possible outcomes and care plans. They will provide clinical expertise and support program development and ongoing planning for services delivery in the community and transitions from Acute Care Facilities. The Team lead is responsible for supervision of programs and staff of CMH&A Children’s team Central.
The Student Wellbeing Team (SWT) Clinical Psychologist provides psychological consultation, assessment and treatment resource to the interdisciplinary school-based teams of nurses, social workers, youth workers, family ties support workers, and occupational therapists attached to each family of schools across PEI. The Psychologist will also provide expertise and support program development and evaluation and will be responsible for the development and maintenance of clinical standards and related policy/procedures for the SWT. The position reports to the Program Manager of Child and Youth Mental Health & Addictions.
