Psychologist
Person who evaluates psychological and mental functioning as well as determines, recommends and carries out interventions and treatments with the aim of promoting psychological health and restoring the mental health of human beings in interaction with their environment.
She designs and carries out assessment, orientation, consultation and psychological treatment activities adapted to the individual and collective needs of the user(s).
Must have a doctorate in psychology.
Must be a member of the Professional Order of Psychologists of Quebec.
