Workshops and Continuing Professional Development Opportunities
CPA Annual Convention 2021 – Online Delivery
Conventions are an opportunity to share knowledge and experience with others in our profession, and to learn about new ways of thinking, working, and benefiting others in the clinical, professional, and technical realms. Due to the continued health risks posed by COVID-19, the CPA has made the difficult but necessary decision to once again pivot from an in-person convention offering to a virtual offering. CPA2021 will be offered as a virtual event, from June 7th – 25th. Pre-Conference Professional development Workshops will be delivered the week of May 31st-June 5th.
In moving to virtual formats, one of the most important considerations CPA Staff continue to discuss is the loss of extremely valuable opportunities for personal and professional growth accorded by pre-conference and in-conference workshops, presentations, and symposia.
Accordingly, professional development workshops of varying length and CE credit will be offered, as well as some sessions during the virtual event. If you are unable to attend a live session, many of the workshops will subsequently be available as recordings on the CPA’s Continuing Professional Education site.
As part of the virtual event, we will offer familiar and new presentation types designed to foster learning, networking and engagement, via a variety of pre-recorded and live sessions.
Details on content and scheduling will be posted as soon as they become available. In the interim, should you have any questions, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
