Bio:
Ka’nahsohon Kevin Deer is a Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawk) cultural leader from Kahnawà:ke and a faith keeper at the Mohawk Trail Longhouse for nearly 40 years. With over three decades in education, he has dedicated his work to the preservation and transmission of Mohawk language and culture, notably at Karonhianónhnha immersion school. He also serves as acting Vice-President of the First Nations Technical Institute, where he contributes to advancing Indigenous education grounded in Haudenosaunee knowledge and teachings.
